The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's David O'Brien reports Atlanta Braves P Matthew Small was suspended 50 games after testing positive for amphetamines. Small, 20, is not a highly regarded prospect, although the right-hander had a 2.55 ERA with 27 strikeouts and six walks in 17 2/3 innings this season at Rookie League Danville.
