Milwaukee Brewers OF Ryan Braun became the fastest player in franchise history to reach 1,000 career hits when he picked up singles in each of his first two at-bats Friday, July 20, against the Cincinnati Reds. It was his 815th career game. Hall of Famer Paul Molitor held the club record before, posting 1,000 hits in 835 games, while fellow Hall of Famer Robin Yount accomplished the feat in 948 games.

Former Milwaukee Brewers OFs Geoff Jenkins and Robin Yount are serving as guest instructors at spring training camp. Jenkins will be in camp for one week beginning Sunday, Feb. 26, and Yount will remain with the club until the end of spring training.
