Milwaukee Brewers 3B Aramis Ramirez (elbow) was in the Brewers' original lineup on Saturday, May 26, but he was scratched. SS Cody Ransom shifted from shortstop to third base and INF Edwin Maysonet was inserted as the starter at shortstop. "I'm doing all right," Ramirez said. "I'm going to take today off and work on it. Hopefully, I'll be ready to go [Sunday]."

The Milwaukee Brewers have placed SS Cesar Izturis (hamstring) on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained left hamstring. In a corresponding move, SS Edwin Maysonet has been recalled from Triple-A Nashville.

The Milwaukee Brewers recalled 3B Taylor Green and purchased the contract of SS Edwin Maysonet from Triple-A Nashville Saturday, May 5. The team also moved 1B Mat Gamel (knee) to the 60-day disabled list to make room on the 40-man roster.

The Milwaukee Brewers have reassigned INF Edwin Maysonet to their minor league camp. He is scheduled to be the starting shortstop for Triple-A Nashville but will occasionally see time at second base and third base as well.

Milwaukee Brewers SS Edwin Maysonet (hamstring) suffered a strained right hamstring in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday, April 12, at Triple-A Nashville, reports Tom Haudricourt, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Assistant general manager Gord Ash said Maysonet will likely be placed on the disabled list and will miss 10-14 days.
