Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Justin Turner (wrist) is reportedly closer to swinging the bat, according to the Los Angeles Times' Andy McCullough. Turner suffered a broken wrist on March 19 and was told shortly thereafter he would require two to three weeks of rest before he could swing again.

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Justin Turner (wrist) will not need surgery to repair his broken left wrist. He is expected to wear a brace for a few days before beginning range-of-motion exercises. Manager Dave Roberts told MLB.com's Ken Gurnick his "initial thought" was to move 2B Logan Forsythe to third base and platoon at second with INF Chase Utley and INF/OF Enrique Hernandez.
