CBSSports.com reports the Philadelphia Phillies signed free-agent C Paul Hoover (Marlins), OF Jason Ellison (Rangers), SP Antonio Bastardo (Phillies), SS Jason Donald (Phillies), OF Jeremy Slayden (Phillies) and C Tuffy Gosewisch (Phillies) to minor league deals with invitations to Spring Training Wednesday, Jan. 7.
