JTG Daugherty Racing announced Tuesday, July 24, that Bobby Hutchens will be the general manager for driver Bobby Labonte in the Sprint Cup Series, replacing Todd Berrier. David Hyder will be the interim crew chief for Labonte this weekend.

Marty Smith, of ESPN.com, reports Stewart-Haas Racing has offered longtime Richard Childress Racing executive Bobby Hutchens a contract to become general manager at Stewart-Haas Racing next season. Hutchens has not signed the contract yet.

SceneDaily.com reports Dale Earnhardt Inc. has named Bobby Hutchens vice president of competition Tuesday, Aug. 12. Hutchens will oversee all competition efforts, according to a team news release. He previously served as general manager of Earnhardt-Childress Racing Engines after a long tenure with Richard Childress Racing.
