The New York Yankees recalled RP Dellin Betances from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Thursday, May 16, and optioned RP Brett Marshall to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move.
Fantasy Tip: Betances has been converted to a relief pitcher, so don't expect him to be a candidate for the rotation if Andy Pettitte (back) lands on the disabled list.

The Newark Star-Ledger and Baseball America both report the New York Yankees signed P Brett Marshall, their sixth-round draft pick, for an $850,000 bonus. Marshall had a scholarship offer to Rice University. His bonus is the highest this year for a player picked after the second round. No other sixth-rounder this year got more than $350,000.
