The team is getting him some work at first base in camp. "Cord's had a great camp," general manager Chris Antonetti said. "Offensively, he's swung the bat as well as probably anybody in camp. And I think he's a little bit more relaxed. I don't want to speak for Cord, but he's got a great energy about him. He's tried to work all over the diamond and really embrace that opportunity."
Fantasy Tip: Phelps doesn't do anything well enough to make him stand out as a fantasy commodity. He could steal some PT from Lonnie Chisenhall at third base, but not enough to make him anything more than a bench piece in deep AL leagues.
