The Pittsburgh Pirates optioned SP Kyle McPherson, SS Jordy Mercer and OF Alex Presley to Triple-A Indianapolis and reassigned Cs Lucas May and Carlos Paulino, Ps Vin Mazzaro, Ryan Reid and Michael Zagurski and OF Felix Pie to minor league camp Wednesday, March 27.

MiLB.com reports the Tampa Bay Rays will send OF J.T. Hall, 1B Rhyne Hughes, C Matt Spring, P Michael Wlodarczyk, SP James Houser, P Chris Mason and RP Ryan Reid to play for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League.
