Minnesota Twins P Anthony Slama (forearm) is working out at the team's minor league camp. He is battling back from forearm issues in 2011, and said he feels healthy. Slama is hopeful to make a brief appearance at major league camp sometime later this month.

Minnesota Twins SP Anthony Slama (elbow) had further testing on his elbow Tuesday, Aug. 9, and he was diagnosed wtih a flexor pronator muscle strain of the right elbow.

Minnesota Twins Ps Kyle Gibson (elbow) and Anthony Slama (elbow) each saw team orthopedists Monday, Aug. 8, due to right elbow soreness, and they'll require further testing Tuesday, Aug. 9. "Both players will undergo further diagnostic testing tomorrow and we will provide an update during tomorrow night's game," general manager Bill Smith said.

Minnesota Twins RP Anthony Slama (elbow) returned to the mound Friday, March 25, and allowed one run on one hit in a minor league game, according to Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. He struck out one and walked two. "It's good to be back on track," said Slama. "The elbow feels fine. There's just a little bit of swelling, but we're getting it knocked out and taking care of it."
