Fantasy Tip: Reddick is available in a good chunk of mixed leagues thanks to his under .200 batting average. His poor start was likely the result of his wrist injury that lingered since April. If he's fully healthy now, he could turn things around quickly.

Fantasy Tip: Look for the A's to activate Reddick from the DL this Friday for their weekend series. He's available on many waiver wires thanks to his poor start. If he's finally over his wrist injury, he could turn things around quickly. He should be owned in all leagues for his power potential since he'll return immediately to a starting outfield role.

Fantasy Tip: If Reddick gets through a short minor league rehab assignment without any setback, he should return to the starting outfield alignment in Oakland shortly after that. That'll mean even less frequent playing time for Seth Smith and Chris B. Young. Reddick's wrist troubles likely played a part in his slow start this year. If he's healthy, he could turn that around quickly. Consider picking him back up when he returns.

Barton will probably be used in the mishmash of DH options and warrants a flyer strictly in AL-only games; his worth depends heavily on playing time, not necessarily stick skills.

Reddick's job could be in jeopardy if he has to be on the DL for a while; the Athletics have a lot of outfielders.
