Tue, 26 Apr 2016 23:43:02 -0700

Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick had a three-hit game Tuesday, April 26, against the Detroit Tigers. It was his fourth straight game with at least two hits, and his average has sailed up from .218 to .292 as a result.

Fantasy Tip: Reddick started out rather slowly but he is making up for lost time. He is a must-start in all fantasy formats and a solid play in DFS at any price while running hot.

Sat, 23 Apr 2016 08:14:42 -0700

Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick is not in the starting lineup against Toronto Blue Jays SP J.A. Happ Saturday, April 23. OF Mark Canha will start in right field and is batting second in the lineup.

Athletics | Josh Reddick playing through back pain

Fri, 08 Apr 2016 15:24:26 -0700

Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick (back) has some back tightness, which is likely why he is serving as the designated hitter against Seattle Mariners SP Taijuan Walker Friday, April 8.

Fantasy Tip: Injuries have hurt Reddick's fantasy stock throughout the years, and he is likely a risky start in daily contests until he overcomes the nagging ailment. He was a solid five-category contributor last season and generally under appreciated considering he posted a .272/.333/.449 slash line with 67 runs, 20 home runs, 77 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 2015. Stay tuned for updates, but in most seasonal formats, you'll want to keep Reddick in your lineups.

Wed, 30 Mar 2016 17:58:23 -0700

Athletics | Josh Reddick is locked in

Tue, 22 Mar 2016 14:53:45 -0700

Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick has seven hits in his last 15 at-bats. Overall, he's 12-for-27 this spring.

Fantasy Tip: Reddick could be a very nice value pick later in drafts, with potential to hit in the middle of the Oakland lineup on an everyday basis. When he's able to stay healthy, he's a fine cheap source for 20 homers and 70 RBI, at the very least. Reddick is also coming off a year in which he hit .272, his highest batting average since 2011.

Athletics | Josh Reddick having big spring

Thu, 17 Mar 2016 15:05:27 -0700

Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick hit a bloop double during the spring training game Thursday, March 17, to improve to 9-for-19 (.474 batting average) this spring.

Fantasy Tip: Reddick had a sneaky good season in 2015 with 67 runs, 20 home runs, 77 RBI, 10 stolen bases and a .272/.333/.449 slash line. Health has been his biggest obstacle in the past, but he also lacks flashy appeal and usually falls deeper than he should in casual leagues. Don't sleep on Reddick in the middle rounds, especially with him showing well this spring.

Athletics | Interested in Josh Reddick for long term

Sun, 24 Jan 2016 23:50:09 -0800

The Oakland Athletics are interested in keeping OF Josh Reddick long term. He can be a free agent after the 2016 season. Negotiations have not started, and he indicated he is not interested in extending talks into the season because it could be a distraction for him and the team.

Fantasy Tip: Reddick could have a giant season for fantasy owners as he plays for a big paypay. He should be viewed as a Top 40 fantasy outfielder in mixed formats.
