Pirates | Pedro Alvarez no longer 3B starter

Mon, 04 Aug 2014 00:55:14 -0700

Fantasy Tip: Alvarez is a streaky source of power categories. He's a must-hold in NL-only leagues and a worthwhile speculative add in mixed leagues if he's dropped.

Thu, 31 Jul 2014 16:05:53 -0700

Pittsburgh Pirates OF Starling Marte (concussion) will begin a four-game rehab stint Saturday, August 2, with Triple-A Indianapolis.

Fantasy Tip: It has been a disappointing sophomore campaign for Marte. He should be owned in the majority of formats, though, and he could finish strong. Expect him back the middle of next week. He shouldn't be started this week in weekly lineup leagues. Josh Harrison could see decreased playing time when Marte returns.
