Last season, Atlanta Braves RP Craig Kimbrel showed up to camp already in game-shape and midseason form. This season, he'll ease into things, and that is by design. However, by the time September rolled around, Kimbrel struggled mightily, posting a 7.36 ERA with a .259 opponents' average with seven walks and three blown saves in eight appearances after Sept. 8. The team will try to balance out his workload so he doesn't do too much, too soon.

Atlanta Braves RP Craig Kimbrel was named the 2011 National League Rookie of the Year Monday, Nov. 14. He set a major league record for a rookie with 46 saves, and he finished the year with a 2.10 ERA and 127 strikeouts in 77 innings.
