Diamondbacks | Webb could miss only one more start

Updating previous reports, Arizona Diamondbacks SP Brandon Webb (shoulder) felt lingering soreness in his right shoulder while playing catch Sunday, April 11, leading to his placement on the 15-day disabled list, according to Steve Gilbert of MLB.com. Team physician Michael Lee said Webb was suffering from bursitis, and some fluid in his shoulder could be limiting his range of motion. In a best-case scenario, Webb could miss only one more start. It is unknown who will take his place on the 25-man roster or who will take his place in the rotation.
