SP Tyson Ross will pitch Wednesday, May 9, followed by SPs Bartolo Colon Thursday, May 10, and Tom Milone Friday, May 11.

Ross, who is the team's fifth starter, will be opposed by SP Dan Haren. Ross was 0-1 with a 4.00 ERA in nine innings over two starts with the River Cats, allowing four earned runs, 10 hits and three walks with four strikeouts over nine innings.

But he goes out there and competes. ... He earned the job." Ross will rejoin the team April 17 as the team's fifth starter. Melvin would like to see Ross gain more command of his sinker.
