Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) described his arthroscopic right knee surgery Tuesday, Jan. 24, "as just a scope," and he said the procedure went as expected. He is at the team's facilities Friday, Jan. 27, to start the rehab process. Wells should be able to participate in offseason work if his rehab goes as planned.

Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) was rested in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks, and it was the decision of head coach Ken Whisenhunt. The head coach said Wells was mad at him, but it just didn't make sense to play Wells with nothing on the line and his knee not at 100 percent.

When he reaches the mark, he'll be the ninth player in franchise history to reach the milestone. He also has 10 rushing touchdowns, and needs just four to tie RB John David Crowe, who has 14 TDs in 1962 for the single-season franchise rushing TD record.
