He also struck out seven batters, throwing 81 of his 102 pitches for strikes. The game was scoreless into the 11th, when the Giants eventually scored the game-winning run against RP Antonio Bastardo. Lee is the first Phillies pitcher to go 10 innings since former SP Terry Mulholland back on May 8, 1993.

"I'm not seeing velocity like I should be seeing," Dubee said. "I don't know that he's at that point yet arm strength-wise, or he's at this point where he's got a bit of a dead arm." The team doesn't think Bastardo is dealing with structural damage in his arm.

"He's a had a little forearm tightness," pitching coach Rich Dubee said. "It has nothing to do with ligaments or flexor pronator. A lot of it might be due to being dehydrated. He's fine and then after a certain period he starts to cramp up a little bit. We have to make sure he stays hydrated and keeps water in his system."
