Randy Covitz, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs RB Larry Johnson returned from his one-game suspension Monday, Nov. 10, and should play in Week 11, according to head coach Herman Edwards. "Oh yeah," Edwards replied when asked whether Johnson will play this week. "He's doing well. He's excited about getting going. We had a good discussion about where he's at, what he's trying to do. Just come in here and get ready to play and find your niche in what we're trying to do."

Kent Babb, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles is expected to start the team's Week 10 game. However, head coach Herman Edwards said Charles doesn't have the size or experience to rush the ball 20 times a game. The team will have to at least occasionally use RB Dantrell Savage and RB Jackie Battle.

"We've got to move on," head coach Herman Edwards said. "We can't juggle the ball again. It's holding the whole football team up if we do, and he knows that. I spoke to him, and he knows what the situation is now."

"We haven't done a good job of that with our four guys," head coach Herman Edwards said. "We've got two rookie cornerbacks out there. You've got to make the quarterback uncomfortable in the pocket and not sit back there. It doesn't matter who you've got covering (receivers)."

"He just fits the mold of the mental makeup," Edwards said. "You always measure height, weight, speed, size - and those are great measurables.
