The Philadelphia Phillies announced all of manager Charlie Manuel's coaches will return for the 2012 season. Rich Dubee (pitching), Greg Gross (hitting), Pete Mackanin (bench), Sam Perlozzo (first base), Juan Samuel (third base), Mick Billmeyer (bullpen), and bullpen catcher Jesus Tiamo will keep their respective positions.

The Philadelphia Phillies have named Greg Gross their new hitting coach Thursday, July 22, after firing former hitting coach Milt Thompson, according to The Associated Press. Gross was previously a coach for Triple-A Lehigh Valley the last three seasons and served as the Phillies' hitting coach from 2002-04.

Ken Mandel, of MLB.com, reports Philadelphia Phillies fans have selected five finalists for the 2008 Wall of Fame inductee. The finalists include former C Darren Daulton, OF Lenny Dykstra, OF Greg Gross, 1B John Kruk and 2B Juan Samuel. The winner will be selected Saturday, Aug. 9, before the game against the San Diego Padres.
