Washington Redskins DL Albert Haynesworth said defensive coordinator Jim Haslett has really helped him get acclimatized to the team's new 3-4 scheme, according to Rick Maese, of The Washington Post. Haslett provided Haynesworth with a better understanding of the scheme and his role in it. "What I was told earlier was completely different from what we're doing now," Haynesworth said. "Getting with (defensive coordinator Jim) Haslett these last few weeks has really cleared up a whole lot of stuff. I really enjoy it, and it's great to have him on my side to help me with the defense and stuff."

Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett has let it be known that Little is still good for 10-plus sacks a season, provided he stays healthy and is used appropriately.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. It is believed Haslett will have a more aggressive attack planned for the defense.
