The lawsuit revolves around a left big toe injury suffered in November 1999, that eventually ended McDuffie's career.

"I think a lot of our problems last year were receivers and the offensive line," said Huizenga. "If we would have given him a little more help, I think we would have had a better year. But there again, I go back to if we made two field goals and had two more wins, we'd be in the playoffs." ESPN reported Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga is comtemplating offering compensation to the Redskins to inherit the remainder of Spurrier's current contract.
