"I thought, again, that this business about elite quarterbacks, I think that question's come and gone," Coughlin said. "I don't think we'll hear much about that again. He epitomizes everything that I believe in as a player. (That's) In terms of the quality, the way he produces, the way he handles it among his teammates, on and off the field."

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has had no problem with a few of his players saying they are going to win Super Bowl XLVI. Coughlin said it's no different than New England Patriots QB Tom Brady telling a crowd at a pep rally that he hopes to have a bigger crowd at a party after the Super Bowl. "I don't," Coughlin said when asked if he has a problem with the bravado coming from his players. "I know there have been one or two quotes out there. But to be honest with you, I don't know that any one of them have been any different than Tom Brady's."

That's why you coach, to be honest with you."
