Minnesota Vikings owner and chairman Zygi Wilf has expressed confidence in head coach Leslie Frazier and said he would continue coaching the team in 2013. When asked when they plan to announce who will coach the Vikings next year, Wilf said, "He is our coach," referring to Frazier. The head coach has one year remaining on his deal.

Updating a previous item, the Minnesota Vikings are reportedly looking to hire former NFL head coach Bill Parcells to run the organization. Owner Zygi Wilf is putting the hard sell on Parcells to "run the show." According to a source, Parcells revealed Wilf's offer to "name his price" to both oversee the team's football operations and coach the team. However, Parcells wonders whether the game has passed him by.

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf made it clear following Week 13 that head coach Leslie Frazier will return next season despite the team's 2-10 record. "Leslie will definitely be back next year," Wilf said. Wilf also said there might be some evaluation of the coaching staff, but he indicated that he didn't see any changes happening unless Frazier asked for changes.

Tennessee Titans WR Randy Moss, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, told owner Zygi Wilf following the team's Week 8 game that head coach Brad Childress was not a good head coach and should be fired, according to a league source, report Judd Zulgad and Chip Scoggins, of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Wilf arrived at the team's facility Wednesday, Nov. 3, and has been meeting with staff members and players to discuss a variety of issues surrounding the struggling team, including Childress.

"I like to stick to the tradition of the game and beyond that I think from the standpoint of fairness and safety and, most important, consistency, to have a system that goes from the regular season to the postseason, you want to have the same rules," Wilf said. Wilf has an idea about a possible change but has not appoached the league with the idea. Wilf believes the team that wins the coin toss should start at its own 20-yard line, which would elimiate the kickoff.

Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf said he is pleased with the team's coaching staff but would not go into detail when asked about a potential contract extension for head coach Brad Childress. Childress will be entering the fourth season of a five-year contract in 2009. "We never make any pre-conditions on how the season should turn out or what conditions would be necessary," Wilf said Friday, July 31. "We're very happy with our coach and the coaching staff and the players. We're very excited for this year. That doesn't ever come into my mind."
