Updating previous reports, Milwaukee Brewers P Josh Butler (elbow) has elbow inflammation and will be shut down for several days after receiving a cortisone injection, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Updating previous reports, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports Milwaukee Brewers P Josh Butler (triceps) suffered a setback in his bullpen session Friday, March 5. He continued to be bothered by triceps soreness and had to stop throwing. Butler will be examined by a doctor Saturday, March 6, and if it turns out to be triceps tendinitis, he will likely be shut down for a while.

Adam McCalvy, of MLB.com, reports Milwaukee Brewers P Josh Butler (arm) has been slowed by a sore arm in camp, according to manager Ken Macha. Butler was scheduled to throw either Friday, March 5, or Saturday, March 6, but the team will give him a few extra days of rest.
