Fantasy Tip: It is believed Smith is auditioning for his own job in 2014, although it appears likely he will receive some form of competition. He has a long way to go before becoming a viable weekly fantasy starter, but a full offseason with the first-team offense and an improved cast of weapons could do wonders. "I love that he gives us a lot of freedom at the line to go over protection and redirect it with [Nick] Mangold. I think the system, in general, just lends itself to quarterbacks trying to get the ball out quick, taking our shots down field and getting wide outs and skill position players in the right places to distort a defense. Then you go make the read, make the throw and make them work for it."

Mornhinweg added that he has seen quarterbacks have great seasons without great completion percentages. "Some of the great ones have really not thrown for such great accuracy," Mornhinweg said. "Steve Young was astronomical accuracy-wise. Brett Favre wasn't.
