The New York Giants waived/injured CB Brian Witherspoon (knee) after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament during organized team activities Wednesday, May 24. In a corresponding move, the team has signed free-agent CB Dante Hughes (Chargers). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
