Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau was noncommittal about his future, stating at the team's three-day minicamp,"I don't think, because of the situation I'm in, it would be very productive to think about it. Some of us don't have as much future as some of the others."
Speculation has increased that LeBeau is closer to retirement since linebackers coach Keith Butler chose not to accept an offer to become the defensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts. He's considered the coordinator-in-waiting.
Fantasy Tip: The Steelers' team D hasn't been as good as fantasy owners have expected it to be in the past couple of years, overall, so perhaps LeBeau is losing his edge a bit. Still, Pittsburgh's unit will probably be a popular unit again come draft day.
