David Siders, of The Stockton Record, reports former NFL LB Michael Merriweather has sued New York Life Insurance Co., claiming he was harassed, discriminated against and intimidated because he is black. Merriweather said he was denied leads and bonuses that white agents received. He was also denied an office, telephone line and was subjected to racial slurs.
