Tue, 29 Apr 2008 22:35:14 -0700 Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports the undrafted rookie free-agent LB Mike Sherels (University of Minnesota) will have a tryout with the Minnesota Vikings during the rookie camp this weekend.
Wed, 09 Apr 2008 15:45:15 -0700 J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports Minnesota LB Mike Sherels performed drills during a workout. Sherels posted a 5.08 40-yard dash, a 7.51-second three-cone drill, a 4.41-second short shuttle, a 12.16-second long shuttle, a 27 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 8-foot-5 broad jump and completed 18 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He measured in at 5-foot-11 1/2, 249 pounds.
