"He certainly played and made some good plays in the game. He also went down in the game, so how's that elevator go up and down, huh?" head coach Nick Saban said. "He pulled up and came out of the game, a slight strain of his (hamstring), I guess." A frustrated Thompson felt he was auditioning for the league.
