Oakland Raiders TE Courtney Anderson (knee) will be listed as doubtful for Week 17. He was unable to play in the Week 16 game against the Denver Broncos. TE Randal Willaims would likely start with TE Zeron Flemister backing him up.

Oakland Raiders TE John Paul Foschi (knee) practiced Wednesday, Oct. 12, and is listed as questionable for Week 6. He's been inactive the past two weeks and might still be inactive Week 6 despite being available. FB Zack Crockett is the only fullback and TE Zeron Flemister is sometimes used as H-Back.

Steve Corkran, of the Contra Costa Times, reports Oakland Raiders TEs Courtney Anderson, Zeron Flemister and John Paul Foschi combined for no receptions against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday, Sept. 18. It marked the first time no Raiders tight end caught a pass in a regular-season game since Dec. 22, 2002, against the Denver Broncos.

Jerry McDonald, of InsideBayArea.com, reports Oakland Raiders TE Zeron Flemister is battling for a roster spot as the team's third tight end. He is primarily a blocker on a team that has plenty of wide receivers to catch passes. He excels as a blocker, although he's reluctant to affix that label to his jersey. "I am here to do whatever they need me to do," Flemister said. "If that requires blocking, if that requires me to catch passes, or play special teams, that's what I'm here for." Flemister, TE Rickey Dudley and TE John Paul Foschi battle for what is essentially one spot. "We've got good competition," head coach Norv Turner said. "I think, based on a game or a half, some people start jumping to conclusions, but I think that is one of our most competitive positions."
