Terrell is scheduled to start ahead of S Ifeanyi Ohalete. "Right now I would see [Terrell] getting the first reps there, but I see both of them playing a lot," defensive coordinator George Edwards. The Washington Times reports Steve Weinberg, agent for Washington Redskins RB Stephen Davis, has been decertified by the NFLPA for two new infractions. He had previously received a fine and reprimand for two other infractions. Davis was involved in the lesser of the two new infractions, where Weinberg collected a fee on a signing bonus payment early, which isn't permitted. Davis said he hasn't decided whether he will get new representation. Weinberg also represented Redskins restricted free agent S David Terrell.

He edged out veteran Darrell Green to win the job. Earlier reports had the Redskins interested in re-signing WR James Thrash who is about to become a free agent. Now, the Washington Times is reporting the team's inability to clear significant room below the salary cap before June 1 might cost the team a deal with Thrash. Agent Ray Anderson representing Thrash said his client will not wait around on the Redskins if they don't make him an immediate priority when free agency starts March 2. It is expected despite a number of moves now, the Redskins won't be able to create major cap relief until June 1. Bears sources confirmed an earlier SportsLine.com report about trade talks between the Bears and Redskins about DE Kenard Lang. The team has tendered one-year offers to all three of its' exclusive rights free agents, OG Derrick Fletcher, DE Derrick Ham and DB David Terrell.
