Updating previous items, Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports the Chicago Bears have waived WR Brandon Rideau, DE Dan Bazuin, OL Anthony Oakley, OL Tyler Reed, WR Mike Hass, TE Fontel Mines, S Leonard Peters, RB P.J. Pope, LS Thomas Gafford, P Zacrey Atterberry, DE Ervin Baldwin, OT Cody Balogh, CB Trey Brown, DE Joe Clermond, DE Nick Osborn, LB Joey LaRocque, OG Ryan Poles and TE Marcus Stone from the team. The team also terminated the contract of FB Lousaka Polite.

J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports North Carolina State FB Marcus Stone measured a height of 6-foot-2 3/8 and a weight of 245 pounds at his Pro Day March 19. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.88 seconds and completed 20 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He measured a 29 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-2 broad jump.
