The Chicago Tribune reports unrestricted free-agent QB Shane Matthews (Dolphins) may be apart of the All-American Football League, a new league that will start play next spring and will consist of six to eight teams. Matthews does not believe he will play in the league, but he said he would like to be a coach for one of the teams.

The Missoulian reports newly signed Buffalo Bills QB Craig Ochs will be sent to NFL Europe, according to agent Ken Staninger. Ochs is hoping to compete for the No. 3 job with the Bills in the fall. "There's been a lot of discussion he (QB Shane Matthews) is going to retire, so the No. 3 job is completely wide open at this point," Staninger said.
