Indianapolis Colts DL Eric Foster (ankle) underwent successful surgery Tuesday, Oct. 4, and will stay in a hospital for another three to four days. The team could add either DLs Ricardo Matthews or Ollie Ogbu from the practice squad to replace Foster.

Indianapolis Colts DL Eric Foster (leg) suffered an injury in the second quarter of the Week 4 game Monday, Oct. 3, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was carted off after being tended to by the training staff. His leg was trapped under DL Tyler Brayton, and appeared broken on instant replay.
