Pope, LS Thomas Gafford, P Zacrey Atterberry, DE Ervin Baldwin, OT Cody Balogh, CB Trey Brown, DE Joe Clermond, DE Nick Osborn, LB Joey LaRocque, OG Ryan Poles and TE Marcus Stone from the team. The team also terminated the contract of FB Lousaka Polite.

J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports Boston College OL Ryan Poles (Achilles') is recovering from a torn Achilles' tendon suffered during the 2007 season. He has been training and rehabbing for the past four months with Chip Smith at Competitive Edge Sports in Duluth, Ga. Dr. James Andrews has monitored his progress closely. He will be fully recovered from the injury before the start of the 2008 season. Dr. Andrews expects him to be ready for full participation shortly after the 2008 NFL Draft.

J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports Boston College OT Ryan Poles measured a height of 6-foot-3 7/8 and a weight of 302 pounds at his Pro Day March 18. His hands measured 10 1/8 inches and his arm length was 34 inches. He completed 20 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
