Darren Urban, of AZCardinals.com, reports Arizona Cardinals rookie RB Chris Wells will probably be brought along slowly because he missed all of the team's OTAs. Second-year RB Tim Hightower is not ready to hand over the starting job, which is assumed to be handled by Wells at some point this year. However, don't look for the Cardinals to hand anything over to Wells, so he is going to have to earn the job.

I know (the coaches) feel confident in my abilities and that showed in the latter part of the season. They know what I can do, and regardless of that, I have something to prove anyway. Having another running back here is only going to help me." Hightower said.

RB Edgerrin James led the team with 73 yards on 16 carries, while rookie RB Tim Hightower chipped in six carries for 23 yards and a touchdown. In the past two games, James has rushed 30 times for 173 yards, good for an average of 5.8 yards per carry.

James was active for the team's Week 9 game but did not see the field. RB J.J. Arrington served as Hightower's backup during the game. "I want to play, but it's not my style (of game), I don't fit the mold," said a disappointed James after the game. He said that he is going to support Hightower. "It is bigger than that, other than that," James said. "It's not so much I can't play, it's more personal."
