Atlanta Braves SS Edward Salcedo is scheduled to make his debut with Class A Rome Friday, July 2, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Carroll Rogers reports. He hit .297 with a homer, eight steals and 11 RBIs in 23 games in the Dominican Summer League.

He is expected to begin the season in the Florida Instructional League, but could move to Class A Rome in the near future.
