Sheil Kapadia, of Philly.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles LB Jeremiah Trotter said he believes he will return to the team next season. Trotter said, "I'm very hopeful. I'm being optimistic. Right now those guys have bigger fish to fry. They have the draft, the combine this past weekend. They know the old man, they can deal with me down the road, which is cool with me. ... I know I'm gonna land somewhere. I'm praying and hopeful that I land back with the Eagles."

Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Eagles LB Akeem Jordan (knee) missed the team's practice Thursday, Nov. 26. Defensive coordinator Shaun McDermott said LB Jeremiah Trotter and LB Joe Mays would continue to split time at middle linebacker if Jordan is unable to play Week 12.
