Shuck still has some time to take advantage of his increased playing time for AL-only managers. Bourjos is ramping up his baseball activities and could be nearing a rehab assignment, though. Once Bourjos returns, Shuck will be mostly useless in fantasy leagues.

Meanwhile, SS Erick Aybar (heel) is likely to return from the disabled list Tuesday, April 30. Fantasy Tip: Bourjos was hitting .313 and having a nice season, but he wasn't stealing any bases with his elite speed. That hindered his fantasy value. He can be dropped in mixed formats. Aybar went 2-for-5 with a double and a homer in his last rehab game at Triple-A Salt Lake. He can be activated.

Bourjos said opposing pitchers and the team's lineup are reasons he has not been running. "All the pitchers have been really quick to the plate, and you don't want to run into an out with Trout, [1B Albert Pujols], [OF Josh Hamilton] and [OF Mark Trumbo] hitting behind you," Bourjos said. "You want to be smart about it. You don't want to force the issue."
