The Associated Press reports Thomas Riccio, the memorabilia dealer who arranged former NFL RB O.J. Simpson's meeting in a Las Vegas hotel room, said in a book released Monday, April 7, that Simpson's entourage carried at least one gun. "I was standing right next to the guy with the gun," Riccio says. "Some reports claim there may have been a second gunman in the room, but I only witnessed one." Simpson claims that no guns were used and that he only wanted to retrieve his belongings. Simpson and two co-defendants face kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy charges with the possibility of life in prison. Riccio admits he is trying to make as much money as he can from the incident. Riccio believes Simpson should have to do some prison time, but does not deserve a life sentence that he is now facing.
