St. Louis Cardinals SP Adam Wainwright (elbow), RP Kyle McClellan, P Lance Lynn, OF Allen Craig (knee) and C Yadier Molina have all reported early to the team's spring training facilities. Molina worked out Tuesday, Feb. 7, and appears to be leaner. Wainwright is scheduled to resume his throwing program Wednesday, Feb. 8. McClellan won't throw off a mound until the middle of next week. Craig continues his rehab from knee surgery and Lynn looks to be coming into camp in much better condition.

The Baltimore Orioles, who are discussing trades with the St. Louis Cardinals (RP Kyle McClellan) and Texas Rangers (RP Koji Uehara), have currently stalled in their talks because the demand is too high.

The Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals are working on a deal which would send Cardinals P Kyle McClellan to the Orioles, as St. Louis tries to free up enough payroll flexibility to add free-agent SP Roy Oswalt (Phillies).

The St. Louis Cardinals are actively shopping RP Kyle McClellan so they can cut down on the bullpen options they have and also try to get some financial flexibility to sign a free-agent starting pitcher. General manager John Mozeliak said it is likely McClellan will report to team's spring training when pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report.
