Fennig will be replacing crew chief Chad Norris. Scott Graves will take over the No. 17 that driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will drive after driver Matt Kenseth moves to Joe Gibbs Racing next season.

Crew chief Bob Osborne, the crew chief for driver Carl Edwards, is also expected to remain in his current role next season. Driver Greg Biffle and crew chief Matt Puccia will also stay together.

Ragan finished third in the race and moved to just 26 points outside of a berth in the Chase For The NASCAR Sprint Cup field.
