Green Bay Packers executive vice president, general manager and director of football operations Ted Thompson announced Wednesday, Feb. 13, the hiring of Russ Ball as the team's vice president of football administration and player finance. Ball spent 2002-07 as vice president of football administration for the New Orleans Saints. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
