Barry Svrluga, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan informed assistant coach Chris Meidt he would not be on the team's coaching staff for 2010.

The Associated Press reports the Washington Redskins hired Chris Meidt as the team's new offensive assistant Monday, Feb. 11. Meidt spent the past six seasons as the head coach of Division III St. Olaf. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
