Fri, 11 May 2012 14:09:06 -0700 New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi said the team will abandon their experiment of using SS Eduardo Nunez as a utilityman and will have him focus primarily on shortstop with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. "We talked about it and said, maybe we're asking this kid to do too much at this time in his career," Girardi said. "... Our thought is, this kid is going to be an everyday shortstop at some point." Nunez could also see minimal time at second base. He committed two errors at third base Thursday, May 10.
