SceneDaily.com reports E and M Motorsports driver Boris Said is ready to finalize his merger between No Fear Racing and Rick Clark Motorsports to form RCM No Fear Racing. "It will be official today that they finally bought 51 percent of the No Fear Racing team," Said indicated. "The economy has been bad, so it has taken them a long time to find the financing. As of right now that deal will be done today, and then they're going to work hard on 2010, so we'll look for sponsors, and it will allow things in the works, and, hopefully, for me that will mean more racing next year."

Said went to Gary Cogswell, Ambrose's crew chief, and apologized, saying Ambrose's mistake was going to cost him a car.

Rea White, of SceneDaily.com, reports Team Rensi Motorsports driver Boris Said signed with the team Wednesday, March 19, to drive the team's No. 25 Ford in the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series races in Mexico City and Montreal, Canada, which are both road-course races. Said has run a limited NASCAR schedule for the past few years and is known as a road-course specialist. Frank Stoddard, Said's crew chief with No Fear Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will be Said's crew chief for the upcoming events. He will be sponsored by No Fear Energy drink and Smithfield Foods. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
