Tue, 23 Nov 2010 14:37:59 -0800 Hendrick Motorsports announced Tuesday, Nov. 23, that it is shifting some of its crew chiefs to new drivers for the Sprint Cup season next year. Crew chief Lance McGrew will now work with driver Mark Martin, Alan Gustafson will work with driver Jeff Gordon and Steve Letarte will be working with driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Gustafson is the crew chief for driver Mark Martin, and it is believed that he received a four-year deal through the 2014 season. He will likely be paired with Richard Petty Motorsports driver Kasey Kahne when he joins the team. Knaus is the crew chief for driver Jimmie Johnson, and his extension is for five years and will run through 2015. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
