Richard Petty Motorsports crew chief Kenny Francis, the crew chief of the No. 9 car that driver Kasey Kahne formerly drove, said he will stay with the team for the finish of the Sprint Cup season, according to SceneDaily.com's Bob Pockrass. Francis will join Kahne at Red Bull Racing for the 2011 Cup season. Francis will serve as the crew chief for driver Aric Almirola this weekend at Martinsville Speedway.

Bob Pockrass, of SceneDaily.com, reports Gillett Evernham Motorsports crew chief Kenny Francis will remain the crew chief for driver Kasey Kahne in the 2009 Sprint Cup Series. Team engineer Keith Rodden will return after a one-year absence and car chief Todd Devinich will also be returning this season.

Bob Pockrass, of SceneDaily.com, reports Robbie Loomis will be the executive director of racing operations for the new team that will merge between Gillett Evernham Motorsports and Petty Enterprises. Kevin Buskirk and Sammy Johns will join the existing GEM crew chiefs Kenny Francis and Mike Shiplett.
